Raymond Henagan, RTFC District 5 director and general manager and CEO of Rock Port Telephone Company, Rock Port, Mo., received the Manager Life Achievement Award at NTCA’s Annual Meeting in Tampa last month.
NTCA’s award recognizes outstanding and innovative management achievement on the national, state and local levels, and honors excellence in overall administrative management and ground-breaking efforts in specific areas, such as new technology and diversification.
Henagan has served on the RTFC Board of Directors since 2002, including a term as board president. During his nearly four-decade telecom career, he also has served on the NTCA board of directors as one of the first commercial company advisers and was vice chairman of NTCA’s Group Health Program Trust Committee. Henagan also has been a member of the boards of directors of the National Exchange Carrier Association, Northwest Missouri Cellular and the Missouri Network Alliance.
